The new Premier League season is starting and the main question is, can anybody stop Manchester City? Last season, City earned more English top-flight points than any other team in history and they did it with such style- scoring more goals than any other team before them. All the top players are still there for 2018/19 season and the champions have even splashed out a club record £60m to sign 2015-16 Premier League player of the year Riyad Mahrez to strengthen the team. This means that Pep Guardiola side should be as good as they were last year but Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are there to stop them.

ARSENAL

Arsenal on uuel hooajal uue näoga

Former Valencia and PSG coach Unai Emery is leading Arsenal into a new era and the 22 years under Arsen Wenger are now over.

The new coach has started implementing his ideas and Arsenal has been more productive in the transfer market than in previous years. The midfield has been bolstered by Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Stephan Lichtsteiner are strengthening the defence and Bernd Leno is arriving in goal. Last year Arsenal conceded 51 goals, which is more than any other season in the club's Premier League history, that is why these new defensive players are crucial for the team.

There is quiet optimism around the club, with supporters excited to see how Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will combine up front and if f the new coach can breathe new life into the Emirates Stadium. One is sure, we will see an Arsenal team with completly new face this year

Chelsea loodab Sarri käe all edu saavutada

Italian Maurizio Sarri is replacing Conte and it is interesting to see if his ideas will work in London as good as in Italy or not.

Antonio Conte's back three has changed into 4-3-3 formation and Sarri has to race against the clock to introduce an entirely new footballing philosophy for the team. Jorginho, who was a key player with Sarri at Napoli and the World Cup finalist Kovacic are the only remarkable signing for Chelsea this summer and both of them are playing the same position. Also they made changeses in the goalkeeper position, Thibaut Courtois was replaced with the new mos expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The new  coach is ready to give more opportunities for young talents from the academy, and he hopes to get a new tune out of the same old faces. Sarri is building the team around their superstar, Eden Hazard but it is interesting to see, if it is enough or not.

LIVERPOOL

Peatamatu ründekolmik!

Last year Liverpool showed a great potential with their amazing front line which lead them into Champions League final.

Liverpool has done smart business this summer. Naby Keita finally completed his long-awaited transfer and with Fabinho also coming in from Monaco, Liverpool's midfield has been transformed. With Alisson also becoming the most expensive goalkeeper in history, Klopp has find an answer for their goalkeeper issues. Liverpool also signed Xherdan Shaqiri, a man, who can be a game changer in very important moments.

With Mohamed Salah the obvious superstar and other players around him, there is already a lot right about this Liverpool team and the fans are hoping that Jurgen Klopp can do what he did at Borussia Dortmund and win the title in his third full season in charge.

TOTTENHAM

Kas maailmameistrivõistluste parim väravalööja võidab taas Kuldse Saapa?

Tottenham will move into their brand new stadium this season. What better way to celebrate the opening of the new stadium than by lifting a trophy?

Tottenham has delivered consistent top-three finishes over the past three seasons without winning the title, now Pochettino has a task to take the next step. The players believe in the club and nobody has left during the transfer window but on the other hand, Tottenham haven’t signed any new players either.

The fact, that nine of their players were involved in the World Cup through to the final weekend speaks glowingly of the quality Pochettino has amassed. But it means that the line-up players Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Kieran Trippier, Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris may not be completly ready for the first game of the season.

Spurs have been slow in the market but thanks to that they are getting stronger as a unit. Tottenham has been in top 3 three consecutive years, they have new stadium and they have World Cup Golden boot winner, Harry Kane. Is it enough to make one step further or there should ve time for changeses?

MANCHESTER UNITED

Pogba ja Lukaku näitasid MM-l head minekut

Last year Manchester United made a lot of transfers and started the race for the title with big hopes but the result was second place, 19 points behind the other Manchester club.

This year, there is tension in the air and red devils pre-season has been anything but good. Mourinho has been frustated about the current situation and the fans have started worrying too. There are many big names for every position in the club but the thing is, how to get best out of them as a team.

This season Mourinho has to prove he is the man to move the club on from the gilded Sir Alex Ferguson era: only claiming title No 21 or going mightily close will do. To achieve this United will have to take the early part of the campaign by storm as it will be a shock if City fail to do so.

This year Manchester Unied will not start the season with such a big hopes, it can be seen after a few games, if it is a good thing or not.

MANCHESTER CITY

Rekordeid purustanud meeskond on sel aastal veelgi tugevam!

Manchester City will go down in history with the Premier League title win last season. Pep Guardiola's brilliant side won more matches and picked up more points than any other team has ever done in the Premier League. And they did it in such style- scoring unbeliveable 106 goals in 38 matches.

Winning the Premier League is not enough for Manhester City, this team also wants to be successful in the Champions League. That is why they strengthened their squad with Algerian superstar Riyad Mahrez, who arrived from Leicester City for a club record transfer fee and adds even more attacking depth for the club.

Wiith no key players sold, their squad is even stronger than last year and there is every reason to expect Manchester City to be as impressive as they were last season. There is a big chance that they will be the first club in this decade, to win two Premier League titles in a row!
